With proper gearing to turn torque to power, those turbo diesels can spank most cars in a straight line. Don't feel bad

The other day I was following an old Volvo Diesel wagon, and it was blowing all kinds of black smoke in to my car. Nasty.

my comment was more highlighting how much those damn trucks can tow. my in laws have a dodge ram 3500 dually with a cummins diesel. i was driving it towing a 12000 pound fully loaded camping trailer, up a huge grade, and i had enough power to change lanes and pass a bus without even flinching.

i would never call anyone elses vehicle slow. dont be offended.

CFT? i'd stay away from them personally. they have a pretty bad reputation

i'm not sure if they do transmissions, but get in touch with someone @ Real Street Performance. i'm sure they can lead you in the right direction.

i'm near UCF/east orlando. there are meets every wednesday @ sonics on semoran by the 408
