    You guys are silly.
A well-driven TB SS could compare quite favorably to any near-stock WRX at the strip, btw.

Yeah... it was just one of those weird days where I got a wild hair up my ass and the 16 year old came out.... I don't and wouldn't normally do that, but it was just 1 of those spur of the moment type things... I would've loved to do a compairison at the track, cause its a pretty good chalenge... but what can ya do?

    TB SS -- 4700 lb and 390 hp? 12.05 lbs/hp
    2006 WRX -- 3180 lb and 230 hp? 13.82 lbs/hp

The math really isn't in your favor, is it?

Plus the area under the torque curve is quite different between an LS2 and our turbosewingmachines.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're making a stock WRX's power very shortly off idle.

Cobb seems to think the 06's are "underated" in power, they claim 202whp.. so in their thinking 202×1.25=252.5 and I have a stage 1 reflash so it mightve gave me ~10hp so if this is correct 3180lbs ÷ 262.5= 12.11lbs per hp... and he also had about 4 people in his car too, so who knows...

    Any thoughts?
I'm not quite sure what the guy in the TB did wrong? His engine makes noise, and you gun your car in first gear because of it? You then get laughed at. Perhaps they thought you looked like the d-bag?

He dumped on the gas right off the line... if it were a normal start, he wouldn't have taken off like a bat out of hell... I know the difference in engine sound of normal driving and WOT, its not that hard to decipher...
Not to mention him skreetching his rear wheels...
