    WRX vs 2010 Legacy GT

To be honest, if I could have comfortably fit inside the WRX, I would have gotten one. At 6-11 it just wasn't happening. My shin kissed the under-dash panel with every shift so I went looking at the new Legacy. I wasn't thrilled with the 2.5i but wouldn't settle for anything less than a manual transmission. Enter the GT.

I gave up about 1 second 0-60 but got the room I needed. I'm very pleased with the car and have already done some modding. Hey STI, where the @#$ is that exhaust system?

do you have any pic's? I looked at them a real nice car. The new ones also have a 6 speed transmission which I wish the wrx had.

The new LGT responds extremely well to Stage 1 tunes.

At your height I don't know how you fit into anything except fullsize trucks! You'd fit fin in my Dodge Ram but I doubt it'd be so good in my LGT. I have enough trouble fitting my size 15s on the pedals without hitting various trim pieces. I'm "only" 6' 2" so I fit ok otherwise.

Having just moved I haven't gotten that part of my internet service going as yet. Still, you've seen it everywhere if you've been looking at the Legacy GT. It's silver, period. Good looking car and responsive.

Funny thing about the 6mt is that I wish it had a 5mt. It's fine, I suppose but I don't think it needs the extra gear. It's all about the fuel economy.

I feel your foot pain. I come in at size 17s. I bought a car in 2007 and looked at the LGT. Didn't fit. I ended up getting a Honda CR-V (I know). I needed a new car, that was all.

At my size I tend to "sit" in a lot of cars just to see if I can fit. And all I can say about the new Legacy is I haven't fit this well in a car since my 1977 Dodge Monoco (a led sled).

I've done the truck thing to death and don't really enjoy driving them. I was a drag racer in my early 20s and never gave up the need for speed. It always came down to not being able to fit in the car.

I will say that I'm a newbie when it comes to turbos and rodding 4cyl cars.
