    Lmao ok. Ive drove both in stock form, i have multiple friends with them and all agree on this. Having perfessionals doing lap times doesnt have diddly to do with 90% of the people who drive them both. Also your comparing a 02, the slowest wrx the US ever made. Put it next to a 09 wrx, and case closed. Also using car and driver for a reference LOL.

    your friends can't drive and are wrong just like you are. learn to proof read before trying to retort on the internet. it makes your points way less valid if you can't even take the time to spell check. doing lap times directly relates to the cars ability to handle. all the cars in the test were 05s. do you have any better "proof" of your knowledge that one car is better then the other or are you going to stick with my "boys" agree line?

    Nice comparo with the ACR Neon. What exactly is the difference between an ACR Neon and a regular Neon?

    The ACR package upgrade includes:

    * 225/45/16 BFG KDW2 tires
    * 5-way adjustable Tokico Illumina dampers
    * Stiffer rear tension strut bushing
    * ACR embroidered Viper inspired seats with Viper harness slots
    * ACR decals on the bottom doors

    Silly arguement since the WRX is a superior car in every way but your car and driver report is the srt4 vs. possibly the least performance built WRX. And I would say those guy are "proper" drivers and they didn't crack 14 in the quarter. Slicks on a front drive car without suspension mods will never get the grip of 4wd, and to end this here, There are people with stock '10 WRXs running under 13 in the quarter. Just my 2 cents

    I wonder if the stock WRX had anything approaching:

    * 225/45/16 BFG KDW2 tires
    * 5-way adjustable Tokico Illumina dampers
    * Stiffer rear tension strut bushing

    Seems to me maybe they should use a regular Neon as the comparison and not the hopped up track edition for a comparo and the results would have been different. Mmmm, Impreza.

    Yea but FWD burnouts are awesome Yo! Just like I said he used an 02, the op has an 06. Also car and driver reference is like going by KBB. Now compare it too an 04 sti stock vs stock. Neons are good for going straight. NO neon srt4 has ever felt nearly as stable or well built as either of my subarus. My sti had stock suspension and it felt 100x better, and still not even as good as an evo i almost bought before my wrx. What proof you want a signed picture with me n my buddys cars? Or a video of me driving one? I never claimed I was a good driver, I said the car and driver people are using pro's and putting down less than impressive times. So you proved nothing, im still going to reference my personal experience with the car.

    He has actually owned both cars - look at his sig.

    However "handling" is something that goes beyond numbers to me. It also includes the driving experience and techniques associated with the platform. I've had a couple of very nice handling FWD cars and the WRX does quite well, but none of them compare to my personal driving satisfaction with RWD cars I have owned.
