i have an 06 wrx and my brother has a '10 GTI. both stage 2. both manuals. when we went to the track we ran the exact same time. he couldnt stop spinning but if he had sticky tires he for sure would've beat me

I raced one with that body style a few months ago he had temp tags so i am guessing it was an 09 - 10. I only went to about 60 and i stopped going once i shifted in to third.

Race went like this:

*Green light*
Instant 2+ cars and then a slow pull till i shifted to third i was about 4-5 cars when i stopped. I have a 2009 WRX. The mags say they run 14.9s with 95 MPH traps and possible high 5 sec 0-60. Their problem in strait line races is FWD.

2009+ WRX runs mid to low 13s stock.

Based on VW's performance claims for the GTi 6, in a drag race:

2010 WRX > Any year STi > GTi 6

2009 WRX = any year STi > GTi 6

Any year STi > 2008 or earlier WRX > GTi 6

All of the above assumes U.S spec WRX and STi. I have no idea what wacky WRX/STi variations are available in other countries.

but according to my knowledge the WRX & STI here is the same as in U.S.A
Where it differs I am assuming is like with my car, it's a 2.0gx and I think the only N/A Scooby's you guys have there are the 2.5's?

Overall, I love Scooby's and I am certain that I will never want another car....besides a Skyline ofcourse
