I have an 03 wrx and the other day i was crushing a 2000+ mustang gt. i was under the impression that a stock wrx would not be able to do this to a gt. we did from a light an 30ish roll both times i got him.

"crush" may be an unreasonable term, but I don't think it's impossible that you edged out a 2000 Mustang GT in a drag race. The SN-95 Mustang GTs had similar trap speeds to a stock 2002-2005 WRX albeit slightly slower times than a WRX (likely from the launch, evident from the 60' being about 0.3 seconds more)

2005-2010 Mustang GT, you don't stand a chance in a drag race, and 2011 you can kiss your Fast and the Furious pink slip street racing days goodbye.
2015 CWP WRX STi ... But how did I get roped back into an EJ motor?!
