    He's talking about a STAGE 2 2007 WRX compared to a STOCK 2009 WRX.

I don't know what you're confused about. A 2.0L stage 2 wrx is maybe a .10th or two slower and sometimes even depending on supporting mods. A stage 2 2.5L wrx is a little faster hence why I said it's just as fast if not a tiny bit faster then an 09' which is just as fast as a stock sti.

I'd also like to know what you're doing right.

I still think it was cause the difference in driver ability... plus the 07' tdo4 is a smaller turbo thus faster spool and less lag as well as weight... you could also have a better tune as well...

I thought you just beat one guy at a few pulls. Now your beating a bunch of 09's? i think maybe... just maybe, you got lucky with a guy who didn't know how to drive as well as you.

Your smaller turbo doesn't spool up that much faster than an 09 turbo, and the 09 is going to carry the power out a little longer. Seems like people think the smaller turbo spools up at 1k RPMs or something... my 09 spools up a little over 3k.

I raced an 06-07 (he had exhaust, maybe stage 2) about a week ago with my 09 stage 1. We didn't launch but we both punched it in 1st gear. And i pulled on him... i would say by the time i shifted in to 3rd it was 2-3 cars and i started at his rear bumper when we punched it.

Sounds like you're the better driver! A stage 1 09 won't even pull 3-4 car lengths on a stage 2 07 even at the end of a quarter mile (around 100 MPH). It's likely the guy just had a catback and no tune.

Would somone post up some dynos of stage 2 06-07 wrx's. OTS maps or protuned. doesnt matter. And i mean actual dynos, not some dyno sheet posted on cobbs AP page or Perrins page.

Id like to compare dyno graphs to my protuned stage 2 09.

There is still only so much that turbo can put out. It's a little td04. Is it better then a cobb tune? Yes. Is it that much better? Probably not. Maybe a smoother power band and a few hp here and there.

For those who wanted dyno comparisons this is straight from cobbs. Same dyno just different days.
