I keep drooling over the Fabspeed stage 2 package which would make it 609 / 667... But that's about $8,000 and I have too many other projects going on. Maybe next year.....

Well, I'm kind of ashamed to say it, but I've gone past cops at those speeds when I was much younger and actually got away with it. Now when I think back at all the damage I could've caused, I feel kind of bad about it. Last time I flew past a cop doing nowhere near those speeds, I pulled over before he even reacted and just let him fine me. He was actually surprised and let me off the hook a bit easy, thanked me for being responsible and taking responsibility. Guess I payed my dues...sort of!

If I was in Scott's place, sooner or later I'd be a no-license-having-9000hp-911TT owner. Not much point to that.

High speed on the highway isn't that interesting to me, for some reason.

Guess how much it cost me to renew my insurance last month?

The original quote was $23,000 a year, but by upping my deductible to $2000, I got it down to $17,000. Now I make monthly insurance payments for $1400+.....

I always say "You need to pay to play" but I've slowed down a bit lately.

Wow...your mortgage payments are a bit over half of what I pay for rent every month (and I share the house with 2 other people). Hats off to your affordable housing, my friend!

    Ray's or mine?

My house is honestly a little bit depressing...knowing I could own 4 bedrooms some other places in the country for what I pay rent for 1/3rd of a 3 bedroom in Newport Beach is just sad.

LOL, if that was aimed at me, then I appreciate it..but my house is really a cheaply built suburbia clone on a postage stamp lot. But that's okay...in 5 years it'll be MY cheaply built suburbia clone on a postage stamp lot.

If your town name gives any insight as to the location of your city, quit complaining. I'd love to live somewhere close to the ocean; my first trip to the ocean in a decade was soured by a surgery which barely allowed me into the water

Looks nice in the old vid where you reveal the bugeye anyway. Plus getting it done in 15 years or whatever is awesome.
