It's not even a high-end feature. My Pathfinder does it, though only in the front 2 windows. You can even do it with the key in the door, if you turn it and then hold it.

not surprising. Do you remember the interior of the bugeyes?

I love my car, but one wrong move and I could rip out the whole center console

Personally, I hate a/c, so if it's hot, windows down. The only exception is if it's retardedly humid, which in New England happens every summer, and then I put the a/c on to get rid of that, then get in the car, shut the a/c off once I'm driving and power down all 4 windows I wish I had a sunroof on this car, but 08s don't have that option.
my 04 came with a sunroof. does that mean i win at interior racing? cause its surface area is greater then your 2 rear power windows? your points and ideas are very skewed and one sided. and to say well if i had this that and less weight etc is also very narrow minded. i doubt a awd impreza would ever get down to the weight of a stripped srt. mine was 2750 with out me in it. so just to spout off that if i did this and that is silly and very very hard to actually do. most of the long time members here have long learned to appreciate the neons abilities and its sole function. the car does several thing well maybe even good. but the one thing it does great is it makes more power per dollar invested and can do it reliably more than any other 4cy out there.

My grandfather had a great remedy for this. Find a smaller person than you, make them climb in and turn the car on and open the windows, THEN enter.

but you do have to appreciate the "light" weight of the imprezas including the all wheel drivetrain considering most contemporary AWD sedans are 500-600 pounds more

The bugeye has the best interior. "Simplify, then add lightness". I believe that quote hits on more than one point here. The old A/C system works much better than the latest model, IMO.

3200 is light weight compared almost any modern high powered cars. the challenger and camero are over 4000!

I always said when I was growing up that I'd embrace changes in technology and keep up, but I'm already behind. My dad has a camry hybrid with an auto climate control and I can't figure it out while I'm driving for the life of me.

There's supposed to be a picture of a fan, then 1,2,3,and 4. Next to it, a little red/blue dial. Then funny pictures of people and arrows. End of story.
