02 mustang gt vs bugeye

So my neighbor has an 02 gt, it has exhaust and other bolt ons.. i dont talk to him much but its loud so probably headers also. My bugeye is stage 2. He rode my ass all the till we got to the highway where i finally got to race him. I left him from 2nd at about 40 and put buses on him. Then he tried to do a flyby while i was slowing back down, which got denied also and i put another 2 or 3 cars on him from 60-100. I knew i would beat him but it was fun doing so, thought id share a kill.

Nice kill. Funny enough I ran into a stang GT owner earlier this week. We spoke briefly about the mods we had (his was the run of the mill bolt ons, but his car sounded great), exchanged compliments, and we -were- going to have a little run, but his gf was in the car and gave him "the look", so no race

Was a shame too, I don't mind racing people who are cool like that. But ah well

I like mustangs of all sorts, but i still have yet to run across a supercharged one. My buddys 95 cobra has full bolt ons, no tune yet but if we start from 60 it takes all 3rd and part of 4th to start leaving him. Ive never gone over 120 in mmy car btw. I did over 160 in my sti but it didnt feel nearly as fast as 140 in the cobra. Guess it was because the sti was alot more firm... and Alot faster(cobb stage 2 protune 05 sti(R.I.P)). Subbys are no joke for alot of v8s till they have forced induction.

Unfortunately, the variation in supercharged mustangs is almost as great as the variation in N/A mustangs. Some run small Novi 1k blowers, nonintercooled with low boost, and only making 340 rwhp. Then there will be another one that looks and sound the same, but has a huge ysi trim blower with intercooler, pushing 800 rwhp at 20+ psi.
