from a dig you should win, there very hard to launch. if hes stock from a roll he should have a slight advantage. but mostly a drivers race. but they respond very well to light mods and can easily pick up 50whp.

i have a STi stage sh** (crappy tune to stage 2)

and raced from a dig, 20,40,60,80 mph roll
he was determined to beat me lol
and he never came close

From everything I've read so far, the Caliber SRT-4 has a 0-60 of only 6.2-6.4 ...I thought it'd at least hit high 5s. I guess people aren't exaggerating when they say they're hell to hook with...

A protuned stage 2 would walk him from any speed if its stock. If he had mods and a tune would come down to driver from a 50 or 60 roll. Theres vids on youtube of modded jeep srt8s beating lambos and all kinds of stuff. Highly modded, mind you. Pretty wild to watch a jeep walk away from a v12 turbo though.

i've seen less than 10 in my area. limited production. not even sure if they still make it. add in the fact it was a pos. the motor highly derived from the new evox is great. just in a very poor platform

My friend and I constantly race at the 1/8 mile, were tied 3 and 3 so far. He has a 05 srt-4 and their no joke; it’s all about the launch. The quarter mile I won’t even bother racing him because he always ends up pulling away.

if he has a 05 its a neon. 06+ are calibers which is what the op it talking about.

dunno about yours/his mods but if the srt is on street tires you should always take him in the 1/8mile.

Yeah it’s the neon style. He has a cb, cold air intake, and is on summer street tires; I just have a cb and am on all seasons.

If he spins too much off the line I have no problem taking him, but if he gets a good launch he takes me by around 0.1 sec. Just throwing it out there for reference to the op.
