Not bad for a LS2 w/ bolt-ons (intake and headers)
It would be interesting to see the area under the curve that you got as well. No doubt you're already pressed into the seat at the same point on the tach where I'm still playing "the waiting game".

I'm kinda stuck in the same debate. I like those LSx engines as well.

I'll have to take a picture of my coworkers project. He got one into I think it was an RX-7 (one of the older ones with the rotary engine). Basically just ripped everything out and did ground up. Looks great. Scary car. Best way to describe it.

I've come to peace with the face I can't drive a camaro around here as a DD reliably. A sooby though, yes. I can do that. If I want muscle, I'll pick up a vette down the road or something.

    My decision making process.

I have an 09 WRX and an acquaintance of mine has a 05 Mustang or so.

The best part about my WRX, is that I can use it all year round even when the streets of Denver are snowy, while his sits in front of his condo absolutely useless.

Cam and FAST 102 intake. I'll be looking for 450whp then.

3700lbs isn't light, but it's not as bad as some of the V8 competition (ie, challenger, camaro, charger, G8).

I might do the heads too, but the stock LS2 heads are very good.

A set of DR's w/ dragbags and I'm all set for the track...

Here's the dynosheet. I've been told the flat AFR is a dead give-away of a protune.

I had a 05 gto with bolt on's and cam and that thing was a beast. I put down 420hp and ran a 12.6 at 115. The problem is unless u have drag tires( which i didnt) you cant even think about launching the car. I tried once and had some wheel hop and tore one of the half shafts. I love my 09 wrx as a daily driver and the fact that a simple $400 (used) accessport gave me more of a bump in hp than intake, headers, cat back, and full dyno tune on the goat just makes this car awesome... Both cars are great, long trips would be way more enjoyed in the gto but no way did it handle as good as my wrx, it was more stable over 100mph tho... Anyway to the original poster, the new wrx can't be beat by the new muscle cars.. For a few $$$ go stage one and your still at least 10 grand cheaper than a nicely equipped new camaro or mustang and you will keep up just fine. Just my 2 cents.
