just passing on the good news. last day of the season for a group out in ohio, got there 5spd full interior street legal srt4 neon. to go 9.89@149.(3 9's that day) making it the 5th 9 second street legal, and the 2nd fastest over all. still along ways off the title holder of 9.13@167

Define street legal....I have a feeling it's not legal in MD.....

well everyone's definition of street legal is different. the only thing this car has against it is no cat and a ext wg dump. you could reroute the wg dump, if you really wanted or had to pass inspection in picky states but you can't run race fuel with a cat so that's out. but it has it's full interior minus the spare and jack. has tags and insurance and was driven to the track! but my definition is any car that still retains is oem full structural integrity (no hacked up sheet metal or frame) and has everything a car needs to pass inspection. lights, wipers, horn etc.
