LOL I had a Harley rider get on it at a light with my stage 2 04 WRX ... I Know why they call them hogs now his ole lady was on the back of it ... Needless to say I left him ... Then had 09 WRX meet me at a local parking lot to talk Subys ... He had an automatic WRX said its one of three or five ?!? in the states ... Mine is an auto as well ... He had no Mods for fear of factory warranty being voided and he stated its his wifes. Pretty freakin cool two strangers can come together and talk Subys ... I told him about this site ... wealth of info here ...

For a bike built for point a to point b no speed required... Its pretty quick and would smoke your WRX with proper rider/no passenger. He who races cars on a bike is just messing with you. He who races cars on a bike with a passenger is endangering the lives of others.

They are...but not compared to sport bike performance. They are geared completely differently. Get to a Buell...then you get a Harley engine thats made to perform a *little* bit more, especially in a lighter frame.

There is no 09 WRX that is an automatic, after 08 they only put the manual in the WRX. So if it was an 09 than it was a 2.5GT.

More like 3 to 5 thousand.

That's one of the few that aaaalmost move out. Most pull 0-60 times in the 6 second range, and lay down 14-16 seconds on the quarter. I will give them credit though, 80 years ago those times were smokin!

Oh how true that is. I like letting them think they won, or almost one. Little do they know I was only giving it 25% throttle.

Well, sort of. Most have a whopping 55-75bhp and can barely spin over 5k.

I see them as such an abomination. Such a well engineered bike built around such a heavy turd of a powerplant. I can only imagine where Buell would have gone if they had hooked up with a real engine builder from the beginning.
