So i'm merging onto the freeway and out of no where this WRB STi with exhaust work (as much I could tell) and painted hood scoop tail gating me (somewhat..he just wanted to see if I want to run). So I moved to the left and he kinda nailed it and passed me. I could hear the mean engine sound. I guess he really wanted to run so I followed.
6-lane empty freeway is ahead of us. He nailed it and I followed. Obviously he had a jump but by the time...you get an idea. It was not even funny. I waited for him to come up and give a thumbs up. He nodded back .
Granted the top end STi is not quite there but thought I would got owned as his car sounded mean and he asked for it so you would think he's ready to game.

No ewl intention. All i was saying Stock 335 had a nice run with STi looked somewhat modded.
I think what they're saying is why are you talking about running a 335 (BMW) when in your story it's an R32 (VW) that went up against an STi?

Me confused, too... Yes a 335i will take an STI on the highway. From a dig, even a lightly modded STI will murder a 335. The 3-series in general is very tricky to get off the line.
