i remember seeing a vid of an srt-4 vs an sti. both were even from a roll. When the cameraman sat in the srt-4, the sti pulled on it. When he switch to the sti, the srt-4 pulled on the sti.

shrug, me and my friends srt-4 dyno'd roughly similar whp - I beat him by a car length on the drag strip. Driving imo.

A drop in filter will sometimes net you 10hp on a NA car... MY old VW made 9whp off a drop it years ago....

yes but this guy was talking about making 10hp and a full car length on a guy in his 09 wrx.
what did you run at the track. And its not all driver, the driver of the wrx is good, i can assure you that, and it is a 2009 wrx, because an 08 would have been funny. and i dont really think whp is everything. gear ratios play a big role, and also how the whp is spread out. lets say your peak whp was 500, but it was at 8000 rpm, a car with that same 500 whp but peaked at lets say 2 k rpm, it would be a completely dif monster. Do you get what im trying to say? i think thats where all motor has advantage.
stock tune on the new wrx's puts the powerband starting at 2,800rpm
From the title of this post "me vs 2009 wrx!" I was really hoping to see a video or story of someone getting hit by a 2009 wrx, or taking a baseball bat to those ugly things... but I guess we can all only dream
All motor's (NA) have the advantage of a completely linear torque curve, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.
I had a thread on here with my 2007 V6 6speed Accord coupe with intake /J-pipe/testpipe and exhaust VS a stage 2 bugeye vid. After a few pages it got locked from the haters...... Oh well, good job on the run man!!!

my accord isn't 2007, its 2005, nor do i have on there all the **** he has on there. sorry you got the wrong guy
