Got rolled like I was standing still, that thing was sick, and it still had dealer plates on it. Anyone try to take one from a dig?

The first video I saw with a G8 which was supposedly bone stock was a 13.2 ~108. I wouldn't be surprised to see the GXps cutting mid 12's with just a tire.

Yeah your lookin at 400 hp in those bad boys. Saw an article in Maxim saying top 3 cars to buy for 09 was WRX, 370Z and GXP. Gave hp, 0-60, and price.

415hp for the GXP, and impressively quick. My only downer on those cars is the same downer I had on the GTO...a bit porky, at 3885lbs. (Motor Trend's numbers)
I should drive one to see, but cars that get much above 3400 lbs just feel unwieldy to me in transition. There are exceptions; BMW somehow knows how to make a heavy car feel light.

Think from a dig it could even up the match a bit. MT lists the WRX @ 4.7, 13.5, 101 and the GXP @ 4.5, 13.0, 109. On paper they fair well together, however on the road its a different story.

    They sure are head turners.

I've been smoked twice by the same GXP on my way to work

40MPH zone, he guns it at a traffic light, I shift at my usual 3.5-4K

I'm waiting to pass him with flashing lights behind him with a wave like I did the DB9 I "raced" on the same stretch of road

The M5 feels incredible for the weight. You definitely feel that it's heavy, but it doesn't have the transition or body roll of a 3800lb car!
