it was a ralliart. 2004's had the same bodylit as the evo but with a 170 HP 2.4 and Front Wheel drive. this sounds more like what you raced.

i watched an evo with dp and headers (not tuned) dyno 197hp on a mustang dyno, im not sure what a 2.0 wrx dyno's stock but is an evo really that much faster?

Yeah I have to agree or it was a very hot day and that Evo was heat soaked when it made that run.
I would at least see them in the low 200s on my DD.

Ah I thought u were talking about another car and another facility since we use a Dyno Dynamics and u mentioned a Mustang Dyno.




The waves on the dyno were due to 3 warp wheels at the time of tune.
This car we installed that day, a 3" DP, Walbro and Meagan Headers and then tuned it. At the time tested when it was running bad the car did not have these items installed and it was not tuned either.

Not broken, just a boost leak and untuned. We sorted that out though.

ooo well i get my evos mixed up maybe a 6? it was the mr one. nut im not sure if the car is tuned its pushing 15 to 17 pounds of turbo so im guessing it is.. like i said i just got the car and the previous owner only had it for 2 months and he didnt do the mods the original owner did

I have a few friends with evo 8s one with a black mr edition...I taged with 2 of them on my way to englishtown...I kept up untill about the end of 4th gear(110mph). It def was not a ralliart. Looked exactly like my friends mr except smoke gray..Sounded the same also...You can here the turbocharger from a football field away..

Anyways tranny's all done.Previous owner f'd up the bearings and they scattered all over the damn case.Waiting on a new clutch, too poor at the moment >_>

Maybe he wasn't pushing hard because I did have a good half a block on him..No ralliart would tag up that close.They would be a good quarter mile behind me.
