How so? Repair-wise you mean? I know trucks hold their resale value a little better though...

even after you get your turbo injectors and fuel pump, all he is going to have to do is get another chip, and stack them to be right back to where you are now. the dodge cummins turbo deisel is one of the most eaily moddified deisel motors out there. it doesnt take alot to make BIG numbers. when i was still living in florida, this is the type of thing i was doing. you dont expect this big clumsy truck to do what you can make them do.

if your ever in the orlando area, and see what looks like a stock black '06 cummins, with an aftermarket front and rear bumper. and it puffs black smoke at idle, and you cant hear the engine over the hum of his fuel pumps, just wave and back away... before i moved back home, he had 900rwhp and i believe it was somewhere around 1100lb/ft/tq it was one sick mamma jamma!

Holy crapola. Yea, those numbers aren't fictional. I believe them. I've seen diesel trucks run 12, 11 second 1/4 mile times...

Yeah i know those numbers are legit, I've been doing more and more research on them and am finding out quite a bit. I personally can't stand trucks or the morons who own them and then never use them for what they were intended for, which seems to be about 90% of the people that live in Spokane. My major concern with my car is that it's my daily driver, I really need it to stay that way so upgrading to a larger turbo than the vf39 and transmission is a little out of the question.

You're right, there are a bunch of idiots who buy trucks "just cuz" and never use them for actual truck purposes. I hate people who buy the MegaMachoTurboUltraMegaSuperDutyDiesel9500HeavyDut yPowerTruck and put a 5000 inch lift on it and then drive around the city. Um...??

hey if you got the money and want to flaunt it in that way, by all means go right ahead. lifting and customizing trucks is what payed my bills, and put food on the table for for time i lived in orlando.

A little OT, but last night a ram diesel and I were side by side at a stoplight that was one of those stupid 2 lanes into one in less than a 1/4 mi.

I started to accelerate quickly so I'd be in front, and the dodge thought I was racing and punched it, so I decided to play. That sucker was pretty incredible!

You will definitely lose stock, and I barely nosed out on him with a protuned vf39 at 18psi...

I drove a ford f250 dually once, it had a lot of work done to it but I didnt know it. It had a lot of turbo lag, more then any other f250 diesel ive driven. I get on the highway and floor, it was a dog till the turbo spooled up and FAWK my head slammed the headrest and stayed there. It was like a rocket ship! lol
