they all needed the driver mod. or stop racing from 0-50
they all should be very close races in the quarter.

no they shouldnt? the 09 wrx would run a marginally faster time than the G35, MS3, 08 WRX, and IS 350...The mustang gt should have a similar time in the 1/4 mile
pending the year of the g35 in stock form it will go mid 13,-low 14s.
the ms3 with a good driver will be mid 13s - low 14s. stock
actually all of those cars listed should be in that range. including a 09wrx.
so it's a drivers race.

Dunno, last 1/4 mile numbers I saw on the 09 was 12.9. I have my doubts since they were numbers from a magazine ( I forgot whether it was car&driver or motortrend.), but, that kind of time would make the OPs claim valid. Driver mod or not.

if thats true then that would be the case. i didn't/don't know what changed performance wise from the 08-09 model year change.
edit: just looked it up. i see a lot changed for 09. i did not know. also found a edumund style test netted a 13.5@101

101mph traps are not unheard of for the cars that you listed. actually i think the is350 traps slightly higher. So, go to the track when weather warms up i'm sure you'll see these cars there and do a best of 3 or even 5 and the runs might be closer than you think. You might miss a gear or bog, etc. But congrats on the KO's, i'm glad the rex is back to where it was when it first came to the states in 02' (A Force to be Reckoned with.).

A lot of cars trap better than the wrx but have slightly lower e.t.'s. The wrx is a pig at top end, we make our time at the beginning of race not the end.

the is had a ****ty start but he caught right back up and pretty damn near tied me. i just raced a tuned 08 evo 9 and i took it on the launch but it killed me in the long run.
was this in the 1/8th or 1/4 mile?
1/4 mile. i was running 13.3s all day.
Raced my friends brand new 09 wrx in my 06 sti the other day, besides the intial launch he was never within a cars length of me. Possibly tho because his engine hasnt quite been fully broken in yet.
