sorry but Think about it. You have a LESS powerful, HEAVIER car with MORE drivetrain loss.

And name calling will earn you no points here.

Easy there, killer. You posted up your "kill story" in a comparison forum; people having doubts is a normal event.

Any more namecalling or flamebaiting, and you'll be headed for timeout.

the zr1 is an amazing machine! Its unfortunate that the qaulity of the car isnt up to par, but few street cars will out perform it

Would these be stock street cars or heavily modified? The ZR1 is est @ $123,000 dollars.

zr1 is a great performing car for that price range for sure. and the reg z06 as well. shortly after the zr1 was king of the nurb the viper acr came out and knocked it off its thrown. as far as i know its the fastest oe street car to ever go round the nurb.

and the 11.3@130 you speak of i hope is reg stock z06. not a zr1.

    Cool Street car!!

Yea the Vetts are reckless power, but if i had to pick a street car right from the factory to out perform any of these domestic bags of crap, would have to be the GTR, 80,000 retail, 480 horse, and comes with all the quality parts as well.

Oh lord, here we go a-swirling down the domestic vs. import drain...

GTR's are great...I greatly respect what Nissan has created. Having said that, it's quite possible that, after a number of back-to-back test drives, I might go with a Z06 or ZR1 Vette anyway. But I'm silly; I like true manual transmissions and less onboard computers.

Yeah such quality parts that they've started to blown tranmissions due to the Launch Control....what a great factory installed peice of technology....so great it breaks the vehicle.

Neither vehicle is "garbage" and just because one is made by an American Company doesnt mean quality is going to suck or the interior will be junk.
