2005 wrx vs 2006 wrx handling

    Hey guys,
I'm in the market for my first really fun car (been driving a focus zx3 for 5 years) and it seems to me like the awd capabilities and great engine in the wrx makes it a no brainer. I am just wondering what are your impressions of the handling in the 05 wrx vs the 06. Also how do wrxs compare in real world mountain road handling compared to say an acura rsx type-s or a celica gts. Also does the added low end torque on the 2.5 for the 2006 wrx help substantially in rolling starts because i have heard that older wrxs were weak on rolling starts.

thanks so much for the info

The '06 WRX got some alluminum suspension goodies from the STi. The 2.5L is a better platform, but the 2.0L is still capable.

Personally, I'd go with the '06 if you can find an unmodded/unmolested one.
