    In most cases yes.

The issue you run into is there are several 02-04's that are well past that point. Also in most cases these cars are modded to some extent.

Launch hard then brake after a few seconds and tell him you thought the race was over cause he was soo far back. Don't give him a chance to catch back up. If you're not cheating, you're not trying

i've run a turboed civic hatch from a roll. he pulled up to me and let off several times for me to hear his blow off valve. anyway, i was in 5th and just went to the floor at about 80 and he was on my bumper the entire time. I wasn't gaining. Then we went from about a 70mph roll, i went to fourth this time and pulled about 2 car lengths till 120mph and then let off. I'm stage 2. I later learned he had the stock 1.6L with just a turbo so it wasn't a swapped block and he didn't have the vtec head.

this was on an oval track of course

if he really is just bad at driving race him, go for pinks!

I would advise against this. Someone's going to need an "L" tattooed on their forehead when they miss a shift and realize that they just lost their $25,000 sports sedan.

um i had a n/a b16 and i know i did 0-60 in less then 10 seconds. are u serious? listen to what you are saying? a stock civic of that year with a sohc runs a faster 0-60. u better be talking about his quarter mile. edmunds ran a test and the toyota prius ran a 0-60 in 10.4. so your saying this swapped civic on boost would have a good race against a stock prius. so i now conclude ur post is.
