Does this thread have anything to do with insurance?

No, someone powerful very cleverly edited the title to mock the thread and what is posted in it.

Haha, cause I was wondering why mine was so expensive too. But I guess the mocking kind of explains it all.

88 in a mall parking lot nearly side swiping a Delorean!

I love the new Camaro SS. With the way USAA is with insurance lately, it was cheaper to insure my 05 STi at the age of 27 than it is to insure my 02 WRX at the age of 29. Clean driving record since the age of 17.

USAA was going to charge me 250 a month for full coverage! I think I $$it a brick when I saw that number. Geico took 50 bucks off without a hitch. And I have a spotless driving record.

Yeah it's weird. When I had my 07 tacoma and 01 2.5RS i was paying 145/month for both through Progressive and after 6 months switched to USAA for 98/month for both. Traded in the 2.5 and got an 08 WRX. Insurance went up to 110/month for both. Traded the truck in and got an 05 STi. Insurance went up to 125/month. Now with the 08 and 02 i am paying 190/mo to include 15 for renters insurance. The past 2 renewal periods USAA has increased my premiums due to a statewide authorized increase. Can't complain too much because it is still the cheapest but one more and I'm switching back to Progressive.

I pay $140 a month for total coverage for my 08 WRX through State Farm. They are by far the least expensive. Progressive quoted me $4800 for the year. Geico wanted $3600. Allstate wanted $2400, so Stat Farm wins with $1680

As for USAA isn't that only for service members? That isn't a great real-world comparison for the rest of us since we can't apply for it.

    $220/month for:

    06 WRX Full Coverage
    97 Chevy K1500 Full Coverage
    ATV Full Coverage
    Renters Insurance $300,000

The WRX is about 120 of that. Pretty cheap.
