The 09 will be cool to play with though.
Stage: I've given up on "stages". I spent way too much cash and my car's running fine (dyno'd 315whp/334wtq). I'm stage "hiding my receipts from the wife...

lol made me laugh so hard.. i am in the same boat as you.. hiding it from the wife LOL

right now i am runing xpt stage 2 since i don't have access to protune so i figured since the tunner gets my logs and retune the map for me i might be hitting 230ish max..

btw nice numbers are you still runing the stock tranny? and where do you start boodting with that big turbo?
Yessir, the car was tuned at TopSpeed using ECUTEK software. The only mod was a Megan Racing Turboback exhaust.

on a stage 2 i get 430 km max on a full gas tank if i dont push the car, how much do you do with your setup? and since youve done vf39 do your remember how much you did with that one? and last question did you have any creep issue with the vf39?

i got scared and send it in for a pnp and ceramic coating before i install it

Keep in mind the STi is a six speed and the WRX is a five speed. The extra gear change will chew up precious 0-60 time.

Nope, only thing that was said was that the tranny had RA thickness in reference to RA gears. But I think RA thickness applied to the 04-05 WRX as well.

Boost creep should be mitigated with a tune. I really don't remember the gas mileage I got with the VF, sorry. The VF 39 put down 318WHP//370WTQ when I had it on my car.

Thought I'd feed this little debate. A friend and I had a little contest from 40mph (both in 3rd gear), and I can honestly say that his engine-wise stock 09 WRX was even with my Stage 2 07 WRX. The only time I could actually pull on him was when I brake boosted.

    His straight line mods:
    -Tranny and differential bushings
-Kartboy SS and F/R and pivot bushings

    Mine:
    -XPT Stg 2 map
    -Swift springs
    -3" DP w/ stock axleback
