True, I have only driven a stock supercharged model and trying to keep up with my WRX off the line was impossible (friends letting friends drive each others car) I had to really ease off the line to prevent both wheel spin and hop. I will stick to my AWD

old ss mid to low 14s @ 96-100

new ss turbo high 13s to low 14s @ 100-104.

neither can be shoved off by a stock or lightly modded wrx.

    i dunno about that^^^^

FWD cobalt taking an STi on a real track. stock for stock i just don't see it. i mean what size tires even come on the cobalt, 185/65's ? same driver same day and conditions i would never put money on a cobalt. I'd even guess a WRX over the cobalt let alone the STi. have we found the SRT-4 of the future???

don't think too long because i've used the S-word (SRT-4)... (twice now) so its only a matter of time before this thread's locked.

Speaking from personal experience, no it doesn't completely fix the wheel hop. It helps, but doesn't cure.

As for the new Cobalt and Cobalts in general I will say this, they are turds. Whatever measure of speed you can coax out of them does not negate that the production Cobalt is a sub par assembly line abortion. I fear no Cobalt, as 9 times out of 10 they're driving so hard to make an appointment at the dealership for repairs.

On racing Cobalts, it takes a hell of a driver to coax a good 1/4 mile time out of them, owing to the horrible wheel hop and extremely short 1st gear and associated traction problems. Your average Cobalt driver will beg for a roll race, and if you're stupid enough to be racing on the streets you deserve to get straight line spanked by a car that can barely stay running long enough to make it through an oil change.

Of course, you should just be able to copy it and paste it into your sig. If not just type them in manually. I've never had a problem with the old cust and paste though.
