from a dig its an easy win for the WRX
from a roll I'd say drivers race.
A Hondata reflash with those mods is gonna add 30-35 hp/torque and lower the vtec switchover. Much better midrange and top end-- which is where the WRX weak point will be.

When I had my 02, I had full exhaust and boost was at about 17psi. My buddies Civic was a 99 body, LSvetc swap, all the bolt ons...
from a 20 roll, I pulled about 2 cars...I was not tuned!

K20 with those mods is mean as hell for being NA. Go from a dig and you'll hold him off till at least 120. Go from 40mph roll or so and I figure he'll inch away from you.

The WRX should take a dig race... A rolling race however, I wouldn't be surprised to hear of a drivers race. The new civic with bolt on's and ecu will trap in the 99-101 area which isn't far from a stage2 rex. Not to mention the better gearing of the SI.
I protune greatly improves the topend though, so if the wrx could get in a protune before the race it shouldn't be much of a problem.
