Yes, their are some very fast FI hondas out there. But this op says w/ bolt ons...ie Intake, exhaust, pulleys, etc.

When a stage 2 wrx has intake, tbe, and some sort of tuning or reflash.

Im just saying the stage 2 will take any bolt on honda.... as long as the bolt ons dont include turbo or SC.. cause thous are truly not bolt ons. Find me a 280whp honda w/ only bolt ons.

    Bolt-on

Not touching the internals of the motor or trans. If you FI a honda, I would hope, you would build the motor>>> if not you might beat a wrx once or twice, as well as a STI. But bolt ons are bolt ons. I've taken my wrx from stock(184whp) to Stage ?(286whp protuned) with a stock muffler(axleback), intake, and bcs. I have recently changed the intake, cbe, and alot more lil stuff.

....and I've owned two different hondas, and a DSM.

Changing a motor is one thing. But to me bolt ons don't include ITB's or turbos on a n/a motor. Once you touch the internals it's know a build.... noo....

    Find me a 220whp 4 banger N/A subaru? kthxbye

Comparing apples to oranges. . .

Don't be so stubborn. Power isn't the only thing that matters.

    How about weight?
How about factoring in drivetrain loss?
    How about gear ratios?
    How about powerband?
How about grip/putting it to the ground?
How about the biggest factor, the driver.
I could go on for days. . .

Just because you have more power doesn't mean you're faster.

I love how people knock hondas. People have been tinkering with them before most of you were even born.

well with my 05 v6 6 speed accord, from 25 roll i raced a I/H/E and kproed rsx-s. by end of third gear i was aobut 1.5 cars ahead. and fourth gear i started really pulling hard.

and when i raced a stock sti from 45 roll, i pulled about a car until 80 mph.

considering stage 2 wrx and sti are close, it should be very close race

    +1. No way.

2005 honda accord V6 had 240 hp and only 212 lb-ft torque at the crank. Lets be generous and say that's 210whp.

Lets say the STI puts down 240whp. Both cars have 6-speeds, both cars weight about the same 3300lbs.

A stage 2 base wrx and a I/RH/E SI from a roll will be a drivers race from a roll. I've been there and have done that..... The SI with those mods are good for 200-210 whp. The wrx is good for 225-235 whp and the wrx weighs in a little more obviously being AWD.

well the thing is its my brother who i raced. and maybe its just that my accord is freak or something, lol but it will pull away from tl type s's aswell. and when my sti was stock, i drove that and raced a tl-s from 45 roll, and he walked me.

but i promise u, i shat all over stock sti's with an accord. everybody always underestimates the grocery getter accord, but there are people who trap 100 stock and 101 with just cai.
