I'm not sure what an LS vtec swap is (did you mean GSR?)...

An LS vtec swap entails an integra LS block (B18B I believe), which is a non-vtec block, and swapping the head with one that has vtec (B16 or B18). Honda has so many dang Frankstien motor capabilities.

And yeah...the K20 as well as the K24 as a lot of potential.

full exhaust
hodata reflash

He wants to race my buddys Cobb stage 2 04 wrx...

Depends on the reflash, SR intakes suck so meh.. Depends on the header and depends on the exhaust.

Not many companies out there actually produce power for honda owners, especially with the K20 series motors so you have to be careful when purchasing stuff for them.. Anyway, that Si isnt going to run anybetter than a 14 with any of those mods so the WRX will own.

from a dig its an easy win for the wrx

from a roll i'd say drivers race.

A hondata reflash with those mods is gonna add 30-35 hp/torque and lower the vtec switchover. Much better midrange and top end-- which is where the wrx weak point will be.

Best street turbo for the EJ20. Blouch TD05-18G 8cm^2 ported, polished and thermal coated by Crucial Racing. I pulled on more than one C6 vette with that turbo

so my friend didn't wanna race the guy with the TeH SI so I did.

We went from 2nd gear at 45mph . We were dead even till we hit 100mph after that he started pulling hard on me.

we tried 3 times and every time was the same thing. btw my car it's bone stock.

Now he wants to race some dude with a 08 WRX. What do you guys think about it?

The new SI's have about ~185whp... decent.... NO TORQUE.

2.5 stg 2 ..... the SI doesn't stand a chance.... 1st hand

My buddy has the exact same mods except for the intake which is fujita I believe. We've raced a few times and both from a dig and from a roll I've won. I don't condone street racing at all, but I can attest to the fact that the K20 is a very powerful motor and its top end is very impressive.
