This is a discussion on car finally made it to the dyno... kinda within the Comparison: WRX vs World forums, part of the Community - Meet other Enthusiasts category; was all scheduled up to get this thing today. but when it was getting dynoed yesterday right off the bat ...
was all scheduled up to get this thing today. but when it was getting dynoed yesterday right off the bat at 10psi it blew out a intercooler coupler and the tuner didn't have one readily available. oh well so next weekend it is. but it did make 313@9psi![]()

Yes I would say you are going to be having alot of stuff breaking on you. Cause my buddy has a srt4 and broken both shafts twice I think now. And me and him are planning on going to the track this weekend. And I bet he will break another set.

i'd much rather have a 100$ broken axle, than a 3000$ trans bill, that my WRX would have..

yeah I would under stand that. But it is not worth to me to get a srt4 that is known to break alot of parts and have alot of problems unless you have then money.

hello? is this your first Subaru?
'scuse me? Mr., could you stand, when you speak, so your words aren't muffled?
I "meant" I would rather the WRX break an axle, not a trans.. I did NOT mean I'd rather have a Chrysler product.. (no offense, OP)

update. the car went back again last night. no problems this time other than spinning the tires on the dyno. which are 26X9 inch drag radials. the car was on a new mustang dyno so coupled with that the numbers arn't that great. the rest will need to be done at the track. but it made 428@19psi on pump but to much knock due to the car spinning and hoping on the dyno stopped that. and 487@24psi on race fuel then then it was just spinning off the tires. so it has tons more its just not made to race a dyno i guess. but another 13-15psi should give me the low 600s i was looking for. thats on a mustang dyno so on a dynojet it'll be 650's pretty easily. i want to go back to the dyno on my drag slicks and try again later. it should hit the track in a few weeks once i get the hang of driving it which should be fun.
