Had a little run in with a mustang gt last night... Cant say I was dissappointed from the results. I had 2 people in my car and it looked like he had 1 other person in the car. Unfortunately the red light we were at merged after about 100 yards or so and I was in the lane that merged. It had just started to drizzle here in south jersey so I figured I didn't need to launch cause I didn't think he would have any traction. Apparently I was very wrong. He launched hard and had complete traction and we both took off. I had maybe a half car length on him the whole time until we had to merge and I backed off... I really thought that he was gonna pull away from me, so I was pleased with the 1/2 car length I had on him. I'm sure if I had more room and I didn't have to merge, he probably would have pulled away from me if we had more room, because obviously the big ol' v8 would have pulled alot harder on top end. He definately had an exhaust and possibly an intake, but not positive. My cars stock except for a K&N drop in filter. Just thought i'd share with everyone... Sorry to anyone who disagree's with street racing but sometimes I just can't help myself!!! Especially with 2 people in my car egging me on haha... Afterwards I thought about how dumb it was because I had my brother and his G/F in the car, and racing in wet conditions with 2 people in the car is obviously not a good decision (even alone it's not a good choice).... but it was what it was and in the heat of the moment, I guess I wasn't thinking... Anyway, thought i'd share it none the less.
