MY 2004 stg 2 wrx vs 05-06 Rsx type s

Just a friendly little encounter today heading by the nashville super speedway - I'm cruising at 70 (speed limit) just enjoying some great tunes when I see his HID conversion lights in my rear view mirror (its mid afternoon)

he comes up beside me in a very non-aggressive manner, nice looking ride:

Pewter (bronze) color
black wheels - red calipers, possibly lowered.
Didn't ask mods, but seemed like perhaps intake/exhaust minor stuff.

he gears down and kind of winks as his girlfriend looks over at me, I slow us down to about 45 (i dunno, all I know is about 4000 rpm in second gear)

he honks three times and we take off.

I leave him, period. by the time we reached about 110 I was ready to back down & did so, but he kept going.

CLIFFS:
1) he has an 05-06 RSX Type-s with minor bolt ons (assumed)
2) I have mods in my sig.
3) We race from a roll @ 45mph
4) I leave him until I back down @ 110.

NOT ANOTHER CAR ON THE ROAD ANYWHERE (70 MPH LIMIT)

it was fun, very light hearted - we both gave thumbs up.

Nice kill. I don't see why you had to go 110. I stop as soon as I start walking away. You already know you killed him. Don't need to endanger yourself.

These new Nittos are great - I had no idea we were going that fast, it gets from 45 to 110 before ya know it.

(and I just couldn't help it, his car was a little riced out and his girlfriend was in the car - open mile long road with no visible cars - y rated tires, I felt like it was pretty safe)

All I know is that I raced a VIPER on 8 Mile around 5:30 PM with 100 of cars around us.

Not this BS again. Re-read the VIPER post. We only went to 70mph.
