for one id be in third... and i run 17 psi of boost...

Just to confirm, a shelby gt500. If so you get killed from 60mph. However from a dig you get killed by less. A shelby mustang however will be actually a good race.

THE GT500 HAS 450 HP AND IT WEIGHS 3700 POUNDS YOU DO THE MATH.. I GUESS UR RUNNING ABOUT 300 HP PROBABLY AT THE WHEELS. IF UR TUNED RIGHT. GT500 HAS 450 EST HP AT THE CRANK. MAYBE 420 HP AT WHEELS.
ok.. well when i asked him he said he drove a 5.4L, ive tried looking and the only 5.4L was supercharged...
i raced him from a 60 mph, and it was about dead even.....

ya.. thats about right... but i also did race a stage 2 05 sti last night from a 45 mph roll in second and i held right next to him until he braked... i was also running cobbs 93 octane stage 2 map, but when i raced the mustang, i was on a 91 octane stage 2 map...300

ya.. my friend was with me.. he drives a 94 gt 5.0L when i raced him... lets just say he was drooling his mouth was open so wide...

From a 60MPH roll you're gonna get destroyed. The only way you'll win is if he's not racing you. In fact, it's a pretty good bet that you'll lose no matter what speed you're going from. From a dig, you might win the 0-10MPH race, after which you'll be left watching his tail lights.
As far as a Stage 2 having 300whp, that's just nuts, and I'm glad others have caught it. The 215whp is more like it and maybe as much as 240whp if it's been Protuned or something.
Oh, and the GT500 is 500hp not 450hp. Either way, the end result would be the same.

IT WAS AN EST. OF HIS HORSEPOWER I DONT KNOW HIS CAR. BUT I HAVE SEEN A STOCK WRX RUN 205 WHP STOCK. IT DEPENDS ON THE ENGINE AND THE TUNE. I WAS JUST SAYN EVEN IF HE WAS RUNING 300 HP. BUT EVEN THOUGH THE GT 500 WAS SAID TO HAVE 450HP DOESNT MEAN CRAP ITS HOW IT PUTS IT TO THE PAVMENT.......AND HOW ITS SUPERCHARGER IS RUNNING STOCK IS 8 PSI. BUT AS WELL AS YOU KNOW NOT ALL CARS RUN WAT THE SHOULD STOCK....
OH AND THE 2007 GT500 IS 450HP OR A LIL ABOVE.
