    No.

All Maxima's since 1991 have been 6 cylinders. Not all VQ's though. Before 1995 they offered VE/VG 6 cylinders. But since 1995 All have been VQ's.
All 02-present have been 3.5L V6's pushing 255-265 depending on the year. Since 2002 only the SE models have been available in Manual tranny though. Prior to that both the SE and GXE could have a manual.

The GXE's were neat because they were bare bones and could weigh just under 3,000 lbs with the 3.0L VQ. Guys are now getting the Maxima's into the 12's all motor over at Maxima.org.

    No doubt.

I make a point to be a jerk and shoot out facts and info like a book in these situations though because the increase of wrx fan boi's has blown up lately. It gives all of us a bad name. WRX owners used be known throughout the import/domestic community as some of the coolest and most level headed around.

Certain douches are quickly destroying that though

    Yeah, most don't realize.
They're not super cars or anything, lol... But a lot of people are surprised to know what the maxima can do.

    Best stock time for the older 3.0L 5spd VQ's is 14.6 @ 95
    With bolt on's is 14.0 @ 99

    Best stock time for the 3.5L 6spd VQ's is 14.0 @ 98
    With bolt on's is 13.5/13.6 @ 102

if im correct the top of the line maxima has the same engine as the g35... . and i also herd its the same engine as the 350z. Or so ive been told... and im too lazy to go and search this up the only diffrence between all three is the body of course but weight factor. 350z>G35>maxima, now with a TBE g35's are such a joke. so given this a stock maxima shouldnt be much of a problem, and screw rolling start best thing about wrx is the launch. oh and add a new intake and cobb AP, then we slaaayyyy 350z...depending on the mods done to the 350z.

    1) Up until 2007 they all used a 3.5L VQ motor. Not exactly the same though. Each had a different power output.

    2) Z and G35 are also RWD. Maxima is FWD... So there are a few differences.

    3) A 6spd G35 is a joke to a TBE WRX? When did this happen? Was I on vacation?

    4) I would LOVE to see you or anyone else in wrx with an intake and AP slay an HR35 6spd 350Z.
They are running mid 13's and trapping in the 104 area like it's their job. They compete with and sometimes edge out STI's now.

I love the elitist attitude here now. It is grand.
