being a ex evo owner and running a few stg 2 wrx's and sti's i'll tell you this, hope he is stock it takes nothing to slide a MBC on a evo and let it hold a good 20 lbs across the board.
if hes a decent driver and can get the launch its gonna be a good run, if not its all yours.

that's why i picked the 9 GSR...otherwise the RS could be had for 26k-ish new at the right dealerships, talk about bang for the buck...
But the TR doesn't lack basic amenities like the RS does. It has ABS and power windows and locks and AC and radio and all that good stuff.

That's kinda like buying a new WRX and stopping by at JSCspeed on the way home and buying an STi 6-speed crate transmission, a VF39, and Brembo brakes.
