Turn off traction control in your Audi. You'll get an entirely different experience.

That would be the ESP button.

FYI their system isn't more sophisticated, it just has an additional "traction control" system to keep the wheels from slipping. Same as the 08 WRX.

Press the ESP button and your snow traction will be the same as wrx.

My Audi did not have traction control.

And it is more sophisticated; the standard WRX (pre '08) uses an open front, viscous center and rear diff w/ no electronic aides. Audi's uses the superior torsen center diff while the ECU monitors wheel spin via ABS sensors and vectors torque. This system is referred to as EDL (Electronic Diferential Lock). Do your homework.

Audi's are POS. I don't know anyone who owns a VW/Audi that doesn't constantly go to the dealers for all kinds of electro-mechanical failures. BOSCH sucks hard. if it don't work, it ain't sophisticated, it's just an idea.

My feels exactly. They look great, and have nice features, but they are pure crap. I remember test driving a Toureg one time, and when I went to close the door the latch got stuck and the door just banged back open. A couple of the dash buttons didn't work, and the dang thing was BRAND NEW! Appauling!

This is a car forum. This is what we do; sit around on our computers and discuss the goods and the bads of cars. So evidently we care.

Sophistication does not equal reliability. In my experience simplicity is alot better. Sophistication means there is more there to fail. The Suby's design is far simpler than most. Though are suby's aren't bulletproof.
