Mazdaspeed3s usually dyno between 240-260hp and 265-275tq to the wheels and are very similar to the Caliber in weight.
I will let you know what I put out when I get dynoed next week.

I just cant get excited about FWD vehicle with that much power. They're basically useless on anything but a dry road, with a tire. Wet roads? Forget it.

Most of the reviews i have read liked the power but noted that it had a lot less of the track prowess that its predecessor had. power is good and all but i like ability to turn.

Pretty quick. They are running high 13's/low 14's @ 102/103 which is damn impressive.
It is crazy that those thing will be hitting 110mph traps with just bolt on's and ecu tuning.
I still think the MS3 is the king of affordable FWD though. It might be a tad slower, but it brakes and handles MUCH better, and has a nicer interior and not as much torque steer. It's just a better all around car.

Thats exactly why I like the MS3 better...it just freakin looks better on the outside IMO as well. The Caliber is just an awkward looking thing, like a PT Cruiser with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome...

i have to agree....the MS3 is the better choice. looks better, sounds better, much more realistic of a car....how long do you think the new srt-4 will run before it starts breaking down lol? a boosted american 4 banger pushin that much stock....-and i'd rather like to think that the caliber srt-4 looks like the dwarf child of an 07 durango....ew

boths cars stock. differnt cars. the car that was dynoed already has its motor tore apart to see what goodies were stuffed inside.more results to come.
