I think what you mean is that on that particular day, under those particular ambient conditions, one particular stock '06-'07 WRX put down 202hp and 234 tq to the wheels on that particular dyno.

That is true, but I don't think any other o6-07 should have a huge difference from those numbers.

Depends on how you define "a huge difference". Historically there has been a fair amount of variation from one stock WRX to another, sometimes a quite large difference from one dyno to another, and anyone with experience in this will tell you that ambient conditions also make a difference. People who are new to the world of tuning tend to oversimplify.

To illustrate Rays point, my 06 TR put down 201whp and 227 whtq CObb stg 2 on a mustang dyno, where as those are Cobbs stock numbers for the 06. You also must consider that cobb could have easily changed a few parameters on their Mustang Dyno to make it "read high". My tuner showed me how easy it is to do, just enter a few different values. Many places will do this in order to inflate Horsepower numbers slightly because in America we like high HP numbers and not high avg power.

My guess is since Cobb uses a Mustang dyno which is know to be a "heart-breaker" that they might have fudged the settings just a little to make up for the notoriously low readings of the Mustang brand. Of course its just speculation on my part.

BTW my sig has my protune numbers to the wheels stg 2. Not overinflated, true calibrated Mustang dyno numbers taken 20 min apart from the baseline stage 2 numbers above. Graph is in "my mods" link in sig.

For me, anyway, my dyno #s came pretty close to Cobb for stg2 (221whp/274ft-lb).

BTW, what does "stock" mean? never heard of the term.

"stock" refers to the car / equipment as it left the manufacturer. so if you have a stock car it means it has not been modified.
