Got a few ? for you if you don't mind...always good to learn new stuff.

Isn't 15% duty cycle about idle rpm, not full throttle? Perhaps the reading is inverted?

The duty cycle he mentioned is for the EBC selenoid.

Do you know what the specs for the sample rate is on the wideband?

Good ?. I emailed AEM, no response.

I ask due to the slow response of some of these "meters" and the potential for gaps in the flow of AFR info.

How are you determining there is no detonation? The stock knock detection is pretty weak, and does not account for quick bursts of the throttle. Plus, the ecu combats knock by retarding timing, which can quickly raise your egt temps and compound the issue. Combined with the sample rate of a wideband, you could be getting det and not even know it. Does the wideband have any failsafes built into it to reduce boost if an "event" occurs?

The wideband does not have a failsafe. There was no real tuning done on the car, mostly data logging. When turning up the boost, the car hits the wall before I noticed any change in timing, short term, and over all.

Have you tried the water/meth injection yet and what were the results? It would seem you could up the boost using this.

I don't see a real benefit in power gains from hooking up the kit at these boost levels. Next mod has got to be some kind of reflash tool.

    I shift at 6k because I redline at 7K

The SRT guy that works with me bounces his off the rev limiter and flat foot shifts his beauty all over the place. Not my type of thing

What are you guys using to log Timing? I didn't think there was any companies out there that had definitions avalible for the 08 ECU.

Okay, I guess I was a little harsh for laughing at the guy but, when you talk the talk and then fall flat when trying to walk the walk. You just gotta point and laugh.

The srt rev limits to 6200rpms. Shifting @ 5k rpms when racing is...nevermind.

anything can happen on the street and what looks good on paper doesnt always come tru. scott care to relasp on the day you brought the almighty stage 2 sti over to my house. how'd that work out for ya?

there is now 3 reported 100,000 mile plus big turbo (400whp) stock engine care reported with less then 3psi compression lost. so you can throw that out the window as well.

this is what ya gotta watch out for.

obviously there is alotta money dumped into this one (not sure if its yours or not) and yes car is fast i am sure.

i guess i am sour on the SRT-4 becuz everyone where i live with the exception have ugly ones and think their car is this ****. and i dont not like the body style to begin with. but yes they are fast...

He's got a persecution complex, and likes to accuse the management of this site of randomly locking SRT-4 threads. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go read the chicken bones to find out when to lock this one.

Ban...this is reason enough to lock this thread in my book...but I guess we'll let it slide.
