Stg. 2 STIs are trapping in the 107-109 range. Are you sure he was a real stage 2?

Am I, no I am not lol. But the driver told me stage 2. I asked what it is and he said tuning and stuff.

Trap speed doesn't necessarily mean you will get to a point quicker, just at faster speed, I'm sure you know that. It just tells you the ability of your car, the time tells the ability of the driver.

I think I can trap higher since I have a lil more done now.But this was a street "race" either way, so anything can happen. I'm sure the stage 2 Sti out powers my car. I'm also sure now that I was the better driver.

I agree that it's all about the driver. From a roll the driver is less of a factor than from a dig, but you guys went from a dig so the driver is pretty much everything.

I raced my buddies SpecV turbo (traps around 106) from a roll in my Forester (traps around 109) and I was amazed how much I pulled on him with only 3 mph trap difference. We were both in our power bands on take off and he actually jumped a bit. Good times

    Keep it safe...
