05 srt4 vs 07 wrx

just wondering who would win if both cars were stock and 05 srt4 or an 07wrx..of course the guys on the srt4 forums said that the srt4 would win hands down but i dont know if there just being bias..well let me know what you guys think..

bot sure bout stock vs stock but stg2wrx vs stg2 srt4 30 froma roll srt4 pwns (from experience)

i have owned an 06 WRX TR and i own an 05 srt-4, so this is def. an unbiased opinion.

one thing i cannot stress more is the driver. if wrx lets clutch go too quickly it will send him into a terrible bog, too slow and he'll be smelling clutch in his cabin for a couple days while the srt walks away. if srt lets out clutch too fast at a high RPM, he'll be roasting his tires all day, too fast at a low RPM and he will be sent into a terrible bog as well.

my predictions on an equal driver's race, i got my money on the srt edging the wrx out up top. stock wrx's seem to run out of steam after 2nd gear, while the srt prevails in the top end.

In the 1/4 mile, the wrx gets enough of a lead off the start that the srt4 doesn't have the juice to catch up, but anything more and the srt4 will WALK all over the wrx.

obviously you've never seen an srt-4 with a driver that can actually launch their car. the wrx will get 2 cars at most, which is hardly enough of a lead once they run out of "juice" when they hit 3rd gear. the srt starts closing that 2 car lead in 2nd gear. come on man, i know you have a wrx but you gotta run the facts through your head, 200awhp and 3200 pounds vs. 230 fwhp and 2900 pounds.

Obviously I haven't...

And I'm not much of a magazine racer, but srt-4's have low 14's... 05- wrxs have mid 14's, and 06+ wrx's have high 13's.

I have yet to lose from a stop to a srt-4. Granted I won't race my boss.. but he's getting low 12's off a 100% meth inj. setup.

Check your numbers. 230 SAE hp for the SRT-4. 215 for the 2003 SRT-4.

Edit: I read up.. and it sounds like dodge under-rated the srt-4. So unless you have a dyno for that 230 whp.. I can't really speak for experience. But who knows.. every manufacturer is inaccurate with their #'s.

i think he just wanted to kill a bunch of young guys.
its easy to very irresponsible and get hurt in a 300 HP car with the handling of one with half that.
