    "it's still FWD"

seriously though, Dodge missed the bulls eye when they kept it FWD. AWD would've made it a very awesome all around car.

whats very very stupid is the sxt/rt model have AWD as an OPTION! wtf were they thinking. on the plus side though i read the srt4 caliber will get 255s all around on 19X9s

How is that a plus? That will slow the car down even more... The 17s were already heavy to begin with, now they put even heavier 19s on it...

well unlike awd where you guys want to get rid of wheel weight in our case it adds traction. heavy and tall wheels are harder to turn and harder to break loose. but my first mod would be 17x9 with 265s. also teh stock wheels are only 21lbs. not that great but not that heavy.

what in the world did u just say? a stock stage 3 neon from dodge is a reason for what? and you just havn't met a srt with enough done to, which is the same for any car that starts out slower then another.

nah, it was smart to get rid of the Neon. it had its day in the sun with all the high school girls. the Caliber was supposed to be a fresh start and would've been tough to beat if it had AWD

the one I raced was definitely modded. i figure two things...

    1. if I didnt have my exhaust and passenger in the car

    -and-

    2. we started the race at the same time, rather then him starting behind me and me starting once he was closer to me

I may have won but its all symantics.

After my protune I will be ready to go

You can beat a new Z06? Or even an older Z06? Please explain. If I remember correctly, you are still on the stock turbo yes? If that is the case, I'd like to see this in person. A Z06 is a monster on any paved road, bumpy and curvy or not. It would take some major modifications to an STi to take on and beat a Z06.

^ ^ ^ +1 Z06's are beasts. They also handle great. Maybe the reason you beat them on the rough stuff is because they didn't want to beat on their cars.
