    Sweet Victory is mine!

Okay this happened about 2 months ago...sorry for the late post. So there I was cruising along 83 North (Balto., MD) towards my in-laws house. I usually go about 60mph (my wife would kill me if my insurance went up..I just had 5 tickets come off.) when all of a sudden an orange 03 Mustang GT pulls up next to me, he was cruising with his GF and I was by myself in my stock 05 STi. He guns it and I drop it into third.....I crushed him by about 5 bus lengths.....I proceed to slow back down to 60mph where Mustang gives me a thumbs up.

Stock those mustang GT typically trap at 99-100mph in the 1/4 mile (while stock STIs trap at 101-103mph). Maybe 5 bus lengths was an exaggeration on your part, but racing from a roll, the race should have been closer.

Only other explanation is that he could have had an auto mustang GT!

He did run from a roll. He was on the highway, and he downshifted to start the race.

Good job dude! How big was the other dude's girlfriend?? Maybe that's what was slowing him down.

    Nice race!
By the way, you raced an 04. 04 was the only year for Competition Orange in that body style.

Thnx for the correction (04 Mustang). I'm not sure if she was big....it was at night...maybe 'she' was a 'he'?

HAHA! That is the only thing I could think of when I read the first post. Competition Orange is sick. Nice race. You definately should have beat aGT with your STi. 5 Buslengths seems a little much, but none the less good kill.

lol, those things are such a joke.

I have never lost to a stock auto GT stang, and that includes when I was driving a bolt on Maxima and GSR.

Hey, I think there's an orange mustang around here (Baltimore MD area) that's actually a unmarked police car. Be careful
