Stage4 wagon vs. Turbo'ed Civc

I cant believe I didnt post this up because it happened a while ago and it was right after my car was properly tuned.

I was cruising on a Saturday night down the local spots (DPA on long island), and this pack of Civics come up from behind me. One of them get right next to me and floors it. I hear a turbo and wastegate, so this Civic is no ordinary one.

We come to a light and when it goes green we calmly start rolling, and when I am in 2nd around 40 he floors it and so do I. His car was FAST. I only pulled about one car on him, and leaving his group of friends in the dust. We did this a few times, I give him a thumbs up and he beeps back and does the same. Those little turbo vtecs are damn quick. It was the 99 coupe body style btw. He also probably expected to destroy a lowly little wrx wagon.

but nice kill! if i had some spare cash i would build one just to see the peoples faces in V8 cars

Awesome man, I know my buddy has a big turbo on his fully built 99 SI and man is it fast on the street and at the track.

Yeah some of those honda's weigh next to nothing. My buddy's daily driver EF is only like 2200lbs. Toss in that it's got a built motor and a decent turbo on it, it'll surprise the hell out of you.

Just curious as to the numbers you put down with the tune? I am upgrading the turbo in the spring and have been looking into the big 16g.

I dont know exactly how much power I am putting down. I am getting dyno tuned at the end of March and a front mount soon. My estimate right now is somewhere around 280whp. I am gathering this from a race against my friend's stock C55 in which he pulled only one car on me top-end, and those things dyno aorund 290-300whp stock.
