RIP b18 civic. stock wrx

On my way to the Jackets game tonight I pull up next to a riced out civic, not expecting anything. He revs pretty hard, didnt sound too bad. I rev and the passenger in the civic was like "that sounds sick". Boxer rumble baby. I get off the line slowly not slipping the clutch, get up to about 3500 and push it to the floor switch to 2nd and start to edge ahead of him, by the end of 2nd i was about a 1-1/2 ahead of him, at the end of 3rd about 3-4 car lengths then had to slow down for the next light. At the light he rolls down his window and asks what i have done, I said nothin. I asked the same, and he said "a b18 swap" (dont know if i believe that). Anyway the light turns green and i slip it at about 4000 and whooped his ass again. I love beating civics it just feels good.
