yeah....his car isn't that fast...and if i have problems with any 2.0t's being chipped....i'll just call cobb up, but my car seems quite fast enough. I really don't wanna deal with all the potential problems of modifying a car.

and I'm sure you have a lot of mods too..
Why do I have to slow down for the WRX? Just because everyone says it's faster doesn't mean I Have to let it win, does it?

2001 s4 is only a 14 sec car. nothing "magical" about them unless they are modded.

I think the "magic" is in their ability to BE modded. A chip puts them at over 300hp, IIRC.

+1 they have two turbos on that model year, so there's much less lag, and you have twice the fun...

    250 HP @ 5,800 rpm; 258 ft lb @ 1,850 rpm and 14.1 at 98.5. 3653lbs

If he "waxed" him he makes it sound like he got him by 1-2 car lengths. Maybe with the grand national he has in his sig but a WRX is only a 14 second car as well...and with just a chip, they're not pushing any where as much power as a chipped s4. That why I said he has a lot of mods...

And what's a new wrx weigh now any ways?
Why do I have to slow down for the WRX? Just because everyone says it's faster doesn't mean I Have to let it win, does it?

from a roll. My friend's putting a t3/t4 on his gti. He's expecting 300-350 whp. not bad for a small upgrade.

I am stock my friend, the GN would finish the 1/4 before the S4 finished the 1k mark and my SRT8 wouls also kill it. BTW the S4 ran a 14.5 and I ran a much better than that.

K04 turboed VW's can only make about 240 unless you go all out and and spend a large chunk a change. Even then the most out of a K04 I've ever seen is 290ish.

and there's 1.8t's getting down to low 12's and such....may even be an 11 second one out there some where...so...I guess even from a stop if you can drive and put enough money into a car you can beat just about anything else out there...How many 11 and 12 second subarus do you see out there on the street? How many 11 and 12 second subaraus do you see without a broken transmission or destroyed clutch every other week?
Why do I have to slow down for the WRX? Just because everyone says it's faster doesn't mean I Have to let it win, does it?
