thats not what the law says.

You can be held liable if -they- screw up while racing you in most states.

People should remember that the next time they rev up.

    But

On a slushy/snowy empty lot, AWD = teh win. (especially on a mall lot, on a holiday when there are no cars. & when you know the security officers and they go in the car with you)

    +1

Had the mustang killed a bystander, then you can also be charged for manslaughter.

    Good point Kanchou.

I agree with BrianH on this one.. 3 guys pissed at the world right now and you think I'm going to stop? Thats ok I would have kindly picked up my cell phone and called 911 but my ass would have been long gone by the time they got there.

I've seen people kick another guys ass for cutting him off, I can't imagin how pissed they would be if they just crashed racing you.

It's not like it's an empty road. Someone would have seen them in the next 1-2 minutes at the most. I saw some cars on the opposite side of the traffic light, which were going towards the accident site. They didn't hit a pole, their car hit the wall and slid along it. Now, when the RX8 spun out doing like 130, I would've called the police and started performing first aid, if I hadn't called the persons cell phone, found out they were all fine, and that the cops were already on the way.

I couldn't care less if you're ethically comfortable with that, I was just pointing out the law.

I agree, stopping would be almost as dumb as trying to race in a RWD car with slush on the road (and we all know how well that turned out).
