I'm just curious. How many catalytic converters does the srt4 have and exactly how much does it weigh?

just out of curosity... (small thread jack)
How do you guys think a stock 06 WRX would do from a dig against a 02-05 WRX (Cobb stage 2) just up-pipe/turboback/ap and what about from a roll as well?
they call STi's STDs because everyone is getting them.

i raced one in my 06 with a ap stage 2 and beat it. stated pulling away in fourth. i think he had an dump tube and something else. i'm gonna go get my car dyno'd and protuned on the 25th so i'll tell what i put down . gonna get protuned for pulleys, cogg sri and meth injection. any idea on what i might put down?
I raced an 06 on the highway right when they first came out and pulled atleast a car length with just AP stage 1. Could have been a bad driver.
I bet stock 02-05 WRX with AP stage 1 and an stock 06 WRX would be a really even race..Originally Posted by DAS inc.

Cobb ran a stock '06 on the dyno and got 234 lb.-ft. at the wheels...how much do you think that is at the flywheel?Originally Posted by wrxaddicted

Also, a guy on Nasioc just ran a 13.8 @ 100mph in his stock '06. This was with a full tank, 91 octane crap AZ gas, another person in the car, and a 1.9s 60' time.

If all that is accurate why would anyone buy a sti? If he got that 60' down a little that'd be a 13.5, and lose the passanger and he'd probably gain a couple mph and drop a few tenths. That's low 13's @ 102-3, right there with stock evo's and sti's.Originally Posted by Integra96

STi > WRX... always...
There have been times when the STi and WRX have been very close in terms of horsepower before and Subaru will simply widen the gap in the following years.
Hopefully 400 HP?![]()
