    got pulled on by a 93-95 rx7

No real build up here, just ran them from 3rd around 60ish-90 twice. He pulled on my by a few cars both times-cool. Then this pork chop proceeded to hit me with this rice hazzard/turn signal bs. It was cool until that happened. Total rice manevuer, but oh well. He shot a pretty crazy fireball, that was pretty fun. Some young asian guy, really proved how much of a tool he was after his signal display, i had to laugh- i mean who the hell does that anymore? Ha. All i could tell was he had exaust, but i'm pretty sure he had a bit more. I'm running a stg2 cobb map.

good run. FD's are no joke.
Although I dont really see how him flashing his hazards made him a ricer and a tool. Many people still do that and I dont see it as a sign of disrespect, just a sign of "I won, thanks for a good race".

i see it more as "rubbing it in yo face" type thing. when i beat someone i usually give a thumbs up. i only use my hazards if they pissed me off and i want to rub it in their face that i smoked them

    RX-7s are insainly hot.

He might have been taking off after the race and flashed to say "nice run, have fun, I am out" The flash is not always a ricer thing. Although when a ford ZX2 (escort) flew past me in my STi and flashed the hazards, that was a ricey thing to do. I always found that one funny.

No, he was just being a douche bag. He was pacing me and acting like a 20 y/o that he was. We went at it twice and he did his little signal display after each run. The car itself was pretty wicked, the driver was rice.

Oh well, dousche bag it is! I was just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, because I didn't have all the information.

RX-7s (the FD3) are pretty badass though. Too bad it was owned buy a D-bag.

i have a friend who has one. it spends so much time in the shop that he bought a second car to drive to work. its pretty fast, but until he put about $3000 into it he couldn't keep up with my stage 2 WRX. Now he can get me on the high end, it spends even MORE time in the shop. He said when I get my stage 3+ setup and can beat him again he's probably going to get rid of it and buy a WRX. His soon-to-be wife really wants one anyway.

Okay, so who is the douchebag now?

Whether or not he was a ricer, an asshat, etc... is his own thing, and hardly a reflection of his age. Maybe if he was 16 it would be more understandable, but to presumably tag someone as a douchebag and reference his age of 20 y/o as one of the reasons for his actions is ridiculous and for you to call him a douchebag is like the pot calling the kettle black.

Yeah, they are not reliable AT ALL. I cant begin to tell you the horror stories two guys I used to know that had FD's went through. Changing engines was nearly as common as changing the oil.
Another friend of mine who just recently got into cars about a year ago really wants an FC or FD (he is really into initial D type of stuff) and I keep trying to talk him out of it due to reliability issues.

whoa, easy killer. Regardless of age, he was acting like he was mr. toughguy in his rx-7, trying to pace me, acting immature. No need to get upset here. I think the whole incident was pretty funny, and i can't imagine myself acting a whole lot different at that age. I'm pretty sure anyone here, if they witnessed this event would probably feel very similar.
