i raced my friends evo this weekend. he has an injen intake and and a 3inch full exhaust system with down pipe test pipe and all.his exhaust shots fire out every time he shifts. i let him started off first and then i just punched it and beat him by couple cars not to badd.

My friend in the evo has a full 3inch turbo back no cat, and also he has a some type of clutch upgrade and also he has painted wheels ( dont know how much the wheels add horsepower). I have the aps kit it includes 3" Exhaust System - Single 4" Tip, APS DR 725 Front Mount Intercooler System, High Flow Cold Air Intake System, Plug In Engine Management, FMIC High Volume Dual Vent Blow Off Valve, also the guy that i bought the car from said something about the turbo being polished i have no idea what he was saying.
Man, that's awesome. I have to get a bigger blow off valve.

Good run. I am a bit suprised you gave him a head start and then quickly pulled 2 cars on a full exhaust and intake Evo with your stageII STi. Then again, anything can happen. Watch out though, all he needs is EM or relash or boost conroller and its bye bye STi.

your EM was your big advantadge on the evo. just like most cars, the intake and exhaust on the evo is not putting out their full potential because he has no type of tuning whatsoever. just like DTR said, a reflash or some tuning for the evo, and the outcome will be different. and DTR, i like the Scotty doesn't know avatar.
